Jafar is the Grand Vizier of Agrabah from the Disney animated film Aladdin (1992), and now in the highly anticipated live action version, played by Marwan Kenzari (2019).  He is the Sultan's most trusted advisor – but also an evil sorcerer. Jafar secretly plots to possess the Genie's magical oil lamp and wish to be the ruler of Agrabah.  Although he tries to trick Princess Jasmine with his wicked ways, as always in any good fairytale, good comes to the good and bad to the bad!
